Corinne Turgeon

Corinne Turgeon is a cellist from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at The Glenn Gould School in Toronto (RCM), where she studies with renowned pedagogues Hans Jørgen Jensen and Andrés Diaz.

She has attended and performed in numerous summer programs/ensembles such as National Youth Orchestra of the United States, Round Top Music Festival, Pacific Crest Music Festival, and the National Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute (Washington, D.C.). Some of her notable awards include an honorable mention from the YoungArts National Arts Competition, first prize from the American Virtuoso International Music Competition, and winner of the Interlochen Arts Academy Concerto Competition. 

The child of music teachers and performers, Corinne is comfortable working with children and adults.  She loves teaching her students in a conversational and productive environment. She recognizes the importance of music education in every facet of life.
