Summer Camp

JOIN US FOR AN "UPBEAT" TIME AT THE ANNUAL TSS SUMMER DAY CAMP & TORONTO SCHOOL FOR ROCK!



SUMMER CAMP DATES 2010:

  • Strings Camp July 26-30
  • Rock Camp August 3-6

Turn those lazy, hazy days of summer into creative inspiration, and give your child a head start for the coming year.

The camp features a multi-disciplinary program covering music, visual art and movement. Children learn, play and perform in groups of all sizes. For the younger musician, a half-day program is available. Individual lessons are available at a special summer camp rate (see registration form for details). Programs will take place in an air-conditioned facility with teachers who truly love teaching.

Faculty includes Julian Fisher, Mary Fisher, David Stone, Jill Clarke, Drew Henderson, Michael Mirzoev, Alexia Preston, Lois Lewis & Melisa Fauceglia.

Strings Program includes:

  • Suzuki students welcome
  • Violin (classical, jazz & fiddling), Viola, Cello & Piano
  • Semi-private lessons available
  • Orchestra
  • Chamber music
  • Choir with Lois Lewis
  • Orff Program
  • Art


The Toronto School for ROCK!

This unique program puts students right in the middle of a real rock show. Rockers will create their own band logos, t-shirt and sets, and give a final co-ordinated show at the end of the week.

Rock Program includes:

  • Guitar, Bass and Keyboard technique
  • Stage presence
  • Creating a band identity through co-operation and teamwork
  • Sets, rock costumes
