Dorothy Pellerin

Dorothy Pellerin attended the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto, and graduated from U of T with a Bachelor of Music in Performance on the viola. She plays in the Toronto Philharmonia under Kerry Stratton and the Toronto Sinfonietta where she is now contractor. Dorothy plays on a free-lance basis with the Hamilton Symphony and Opera Company as well as many other orchestras, chamber groups and quartets/ trios for concerts and special occasions etc. She has shared the joys and difficulties of seeing to her own childrens' musical education, and can bring that experience to her present teaching of violin and viola students of all ages.
