Ben Finley

Ben Finley was born into an extremely musical environment and has not looked back since. He grew up in a household with professional classical musicians, and he was also a prominent member of his national gold winning high school jazz band, winning over 7 individual awards. He was also invited to be a part of the National Concert Band of Canada.

Ben is currently entering his fourth year of the University of Toronto where he is double majoring in Music Performance and Philosophy. Ben's teachers currently include Ed Tait of the Toronto Symphony, Joel Quarrington, the renowned international bass virtuoso, as well as order of Canada recipient and bass player of the year winner, Dave Young. Ben is equally fluent in both acoustic and electric basses.
