Adrian Gross

Adrian Gross is a recent graduate of Toronto’s prestigious Humber College Music School, where he focused on jazz guitar and composition. He graduated from the first class of Humber’s new, highly acclaimed degree program, and had the opportunity to study under some of Canada’s brightest musical and compositional talents. Adrian was awarded the “Duke Ellington Memorial Award” for Composition in 2008.

As a teacher, Adrian has taught guitar to students of all ages, and teaches a wide variety of acoustic and electric guitar styles, specializing in jazz, and a wide variety of folk styles, including blues, bluegrass, and finger-picking. He feels that providing the student with a theoretical and aural context for what they are learning is as important as learning to play the right notes!

Adrian also plays and teaches the mandolin.

Adrian can be found performing with various groups of all styles in Toronto.
